APRIL 25TH come celebrate ANZAC DAY AT NELSON BLUE
Anzac Day is when we pause to remember those Australian and New
Zealanders killed in war, to honour returned servicemen and women as
well as giving thought to those personnel who are currently serving
their countries. Although it's timing recalls the landing at Gallipoli
of the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps on 25th April 1915, the
commemorative service is for all those men and women around the world
who have given their lives during conflict. we'll be offering SPECIALS
on STIENLAGER AND SPEIGHTS and our favorite the KIWI MEAT PIE and
other KIWI GOODIES

Nelson Blue Restaurant invites you to a wine tasting (gratis)
showcasing the superb red wines of Hawke's Bay, New Zealand.

Extraordinary Syrahs and Bordeaux-style blends you wouldn't think
were made all the way from the other side of the New World... but
the wines evoke such an Old World pedigree you'll be amazed -- we
dare say you'll even be bewildered and incredulous -- at how
splendid the wines are. One more factoid: a Hawke's Bay label was
adjudged among the Top Ten Bordeaux-style wines (we'll tell you
which one on Monday).

MAY 10TH is our one year anniversary and to help us celebrate it we
are proud to bring to NEW YORK a introduction to MAORI CULTURE with a
special appearance by KAHURANGI MAORI DANCE THEATRE OF NEW ZEALAND
this is a performance that gives insight into the unique
culture,customs,traditions,heritage and history of New Zealand's
indigenous people.

We will be offering 2 shows with a special menu and wine pairing
there will also be drink specials throughout the day and night, This
is a great opportunity to get your kiwiana on and introduce your
American friends to some real authentic kiwi song and dance.
